About Manufacturers Equivalents
Grease fittings are produced using the screw machine process, where the fitting’s head (or nipple) is precisely machined. This head, which serves as the connection point, is standardized and used globally, allowing grease couplers to connect universally. The heads meet various standards, including SAE and DIN.
Although the head is universal, slight variations in non-critical dimensions may occur between manufacturers. As a result, products from different manufacturers might not be exact duplicates.
However, critical dimensions like head size, design, and thread type adhere to specific tolerances regardless of the manufacturer, ensuring consistent functionality.
